Is it weird to say that I wish I could take José and Shaye’s Matter Park wedding and put it in my home?! 😆 Everything about the day was carefully designed and absolutely gorgeous. From the vintage couch and decor in the reception hall (and ohhhhh how I loved the chippy paint! 😍) to the bouquet that Shaye walked down the aisle with, it was something out of a vintage chic/Fixer Upper dream.
There were many MANY things that I loved about José and Shaye’s wedding. I mean, an intimate, vintage chic wedding in the middle of a park? That alone is enough to make me swoon! But the most special thing about their wedding was that it was so intentional and beautiful, especially this foot washing part of their ceremony. Just as Jesus washed the feet of his disciples as a symbol of his love and service to them, Shaye and José washed each others feet as a reminder to humbly serve each other. Such a wonderful, humble reminder to us all! 💗
