I'm Victoria, and I'm a  central Indiana wedding photographer (available for travel!) on a mission to photograph the madly in love and everyone feel like the real rockstars that they really are in front of the camera.

Most days you can find me brewing coffee with an old sitcom on in the background and taking millions of photos of our SWEETEST & most adorable dog sleeping or just being cute. In my free time, I love exploring new places with my husband, DIY-ing, and camping in our renovated fifth wheel. Seriously, we're basically old people!

People often refer to me as an energetic, positive, and encouraging person who loves to create and capture both candid and posed moments that you'll treasure forever. I'll NEVER deny a sweet treat, so don't hesitate to reach out to chat about your wedding over coffee + donuts!

hello there, sweet friend!

my story >>

Being a wedding photographer means so much to me. Honestly, I never thought of "photographer" as being a career choice that I could make growing up, or that I'd ever be able to make it as a photographer. I always saw it as one of those far-off dreams like becoming a full time musician, professional athlete, you get the drift.. Not sure where my life would lead me, I took a cadet teaching course my senior year of high school and loved it. So then, I pursued Elementary Education at Purdue University and felt like that was what I was supposed to do. Junior year I felt my passions shifting. Education became less of something that I felt like I could do for the rest of my life and my love for photography became something that I could see a real future with. Why conform to the social norms when I could take a shot at pursuing what I am most passionate about?

After I finished my degree at Purdue and got my teaching license there was this huge open door that was really intimidating to me. This pivotal moment where I could do whatever I wanted. I took an aiding position at a local elementary school so I could try out the idea of being a full time photographer, and I've never looked back since. For the first time in my life I feel like I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be, doing exactly what I'm supposed to do, and it's liberating.

my photography story

<<  about victoria

With today's technology, photography has become such a common hobby and it seems like everyone is a "photographer". But what many people don't realize is that being a good wedding photographer isn't something you can just buy or easily become. It takes a lot of time, hard work, and experience to become a good wedding photographer, and even then there can still be qualities lacking that set you apart as a wedding photographer. For me, this isn't just a business. It's my passion. Being your wedding photographer means pouring my heart and soul into your wedding day. It's creating relationships, it's knowing when to be and where to capture the most raw, fleeting, and beautiful moments, it's being your calm within the storm, and it's understanding how important little moments are and constantly looking for them.

your wedding is personal to me.

so what makes me different?

My photography philosophy is plain and simple: to tell the greatest day of your life. When you look back at your photos I want you to remember the overwhelming excitement bubbling up from inside of you as your dress is slipped on, feel the wave of relief and love wash over you the first time you saw your dapper Groom, the look of pride in your father’s eye as he walks you down the aisle, the way you giggled uncontrollably because the word "husband" felt so silly and foreign on your tongue.

Photographing weddings might be my career, but it's so much more than that to me because these photos that I capture aren't just images to me, they are meaningful moments preserved in time forever.
