In 2017 I challenged myself to making more natural choices to make a healthier home. Most switches were small, like going from plastic to glass storage containers (you can read about some of the benefits of glass storage here!), laundry detergent brands, toothpaste brands, etc. One of the most significant changes we made was stopping using over the counter medications and using essential oils instead. Even though it was a significant change I began to realize that it really wasn’t a big, scary change. I understand that this post is going to make me sound like a total hippy, honestly I would have called myself a hippy if I read this a year ago! This post is to mostly share how integrating essential oils into your daily life is completely attainable and not at all a terrifying change to make in your own home. Side note– I’m in no means interested in selling anyone essential oils (like you would anything else, just do research on whatever brand you choose to use to make sure that they are actually legit!), I just want to share how one of the most seemingly complex changes that I made in our lives in 2017 became the simplest change that we’re so thankful we made!
I’d love to hear what goals you have for yourself or for your home in 2018! Tell me in the comments below!
